The album was recorded on a Tascam Portastudio 424 and mixed & mastered in Pro Tools 12 using iZotope, Slate, and Avid plug-ins including Virtual Tape Machines, Avid Tape Echo, Alloy 2, and Ozone 7.

I haven't found my voice yet. I'm twenty-five, which is awful — shouldn't I be farther along by now? But oh well. That's what Citizen Scientist is here for. It's a way for me to keep writing, to keep experimenting, to keep trying to stretch & strengthen my muscles without having to be perfect. Then someday, maybe, I'll appear as I want to appear.
