#13 Kody Ternes
Kody Ternes is a singer/songwriter from Minot, ND and he comes down to Midwest Biolabs with many surprises. Kody and I have very different backgrounds — I mean, I didn't expect to have a youth pastor on the show so soon, if ever, to be honest — but I was stoked to talk to Kody and we found so many things we're both excited about: Grind Your Face Off Fest. Tight pants. Iceland. Melodies. Airplanes.
Oh, and challenging yourself to meet your own high standards. There's that, too.
Hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.
Check out Kody Ternes on Bandcamp.

“So when you're being radical, you're really just trying to get to the roots of it all. Some things need to be uprooted; some things need to be more deeply rooted.”
— Joe Davis
“The only way to really improve as a band is to work with people who want to improve & want to throw their ideas out there, and I think that’s beautiful.”
— Seth Babbitt

Algorillathym’s demos are a breath of fresh air in this new year, a year that will probably be even worse than last year. The music reminds us not to reach deep inside our hearts so that we may add our own special spice to the pizza sauce that is our lifeblood.
