I spoke with all six members of North Dakota bands Vanity Plate and the Juniper Drive after they returned from their tour to the west coast.
The Juniper Drive is Robert Kramer (guitar/vocals), Blake Burbach (guitar), Evan Morgenson (bass) and (formerly) myself on drum kit.
Robert and I wrap up our three-part conversation. We talk about going on tour when we were 18, Robert's time in Phoenix & Nashville studying audio engineering, getting drunk & writing songs, and how much better & more humanistic music is when it has some damn mistakes in it.
